I agree that the instructions and documentation for this need a lot more info.
From what I've figured out, YouCatch seems like a game that's similar to tag. It will show the locations of other people in your game (but only for short periods) and you have to physically find the person. I think when you find them a "fire" button appears on your phone and you score by "shooting" another player. Not 100% on this though. Not many people playing this are close to my location, so I haven't had a chance to play this fully.
Roads of San Fran is a game where you are given a story line and clues. You then have to figure out where to go. when you get to that location, the next clue is triggered which in turn leads you to another location. You're solving a mystery. This game can be played by physically traveling around San Fran and your GPS location triggers the clues, or you can play in simulation mode where you can move your character around using the trackball. The game's a little short but pretty fun.
The Munich game I'm assuming is pretty much the same as the San Fran one, but I haven't played it yet.
